La Siembra Co-operative is a fair trade worker co-operative, which seeks to promote a new model of trading partnerships guided by the principles of fair trade. Incorporated in 1999, La Siembra is one of the first companies to import, manufacture and distribute Fair Trade and organic sugar and cocoa products in North America. La Siembra’s Camino® line of consumer products is sold in over 3000 retail outlets across Canada.

As part of the worker co-op model, our employees have the right to apply for membership/ownership in the Co?operative after 14th months of employment. As a worker owner, you will be given a voting share and will be able to participate in a certain level of decision making thereby sharing the risks and benefits of the business.
