ECO-FARM INTERN

Position: Ecological farm intern
Type: internship with room & board (see below)
Organization: Against the Grain Farms of Winchester
Location: Winchester, Ontario (30 minutes south of Ottawa)

Against the Grain Farms of Winchester is focused on re-building the grain commerce of Eastern Ontario by establishing heritage wheats and barleys from around the world. We concentrate on growing non-gmo heritage varieties of corn, wheat and barley for human consumption. We sell our grains/flour wholesale to large bakeries, chefs, distiller's as well as farmer's markets and stores.

Position available for summer/fall intern, we are looking for someone interested to work with heritage grain harvest. Also the opportunity to participate in farmers markets and CSA grain share selling our retail products.

Room and board available and lots of fresh garden produce. The farm is located 30 minutes south of Ottawa (near Winchester).
