About Meal Exchange: Founded in 1993, Meal Exchange’s mission is to invest in youth-led solutions across Canada to create a just and sustainable food system for people and planet. By leveraging food as a tool to drive social change, we support youth-led social innovations, advocate for institutional and policy change, and develop diverse communities of civically-minded, solutions-oriented youth leaders.
The Manager of Finance and Operations will be a strategic thought-partner and report to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Meal Exchange’s finance and operations functions. This position requires a person with keen attention to detail and the ability and desire to multi-task and take on a wide range of responsibilities. Experience with financial oversight, budgeting experience and accounting is required.
The Manager of Finance and Operations will additionally support with the operational and administrative aspects of the organization. The successful candidate will work with colleagues and the Executive Director towards the smooth internal functioning of the organization, ensuring procedures are in place to provide a high-engagement and productive culture. This is a tremendous opportunity for a finance and operations leader to maximize and strengthen the internal capacity of a well-respected, high-impact organization.
