Location: Toronto, Ontario
Date posted: May 2020

Reports to: Manager, Community Programs
Second Harvest is Canada’s largest food rescue organization and expert in perishable food recovery. We rescue surplus, unsold food from across the supply chain and redistribute it to not-for-profits across the country to feed communities.
Second Harvest has a growing network of more than 1,500 non-profit and charitable agency partners that we redistribute food to, over 300 of which are Toronto-based. Second Harvest is looking for an adaptive, innovative, and strategic thinker to join our team as the Community Programs Coordinator. Reporting into the Manager, Community Programs, this position is created to help support our agency network, develop and implement core programs and drive Second Harvest’s community impact.
We are looking for someone who is partnership minded, driven by positive community development and social change, and who has community programming and food sector knowledge. The Community Programs Coordinator will be a strong and clear communicator, data-driven and motivated by people, change, and constant learning; someone who is both a visionary and willing to climb into the trenches to get the job done.
