Position: Graphic and Social Media Coordinator [NOC 5241]

Location: Burnaby, Metro Vancouver BC

Jiva Organics is a thriving Organic and Natural Food Distributor located at #7442, Fraser Park Drive, Burnaby, BC, Canada, V5J 5B9. We are seeking a creative, well-organized, tech savvy Graphic and Social Media Coordinator, NOC 5241. Working within a tight-knit team, you are self-motivated, detail-oriented DOER, eager to utilize your creative potential under direction of our Sales/Marketing Director.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Update graphic art such as digital and physical signage, flyers, sell-sheets, catalogues and other promotional materials in a timely fashion
  • Assemble and update content for social media platforms and e-commerce websites
  • Update presentations as instructed by the Sales/Marketing Department
  • Keep consistent brand image/message across all promotional collateral
  • Meet deadlines according to bi-weekly and monthly promotion schedules as well as special events as directed by the Sales/Marketing Director
  • Ensure accuracy, consistency and quality of all graphic content
  • Create or update products photos
  • Ensure all content is free of grammatical or numerical errors (i.e. proofread and edit content)
  • Assist the Sales/Marketing Department in creating other miscellaneous promotional content as needed

  • You are a self-motivated, go-getter who can follow instructions and complete tasks on tight timelines
  • You are a quick learner and can find creative solutions to problems on your own
  • You are a great communicator and quick learner, able to take constructive criticism to fine tune projects
  • You have great time management skills and able to juggle multiple projects
  • You are detail oriented and able to catch on to errors that others may have missed
  • You are tech-savvy and able to quickly adapt to a variety of digital mediums

Employment Requirements:

  • Well-versed in the use of Adobe Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • Diploma or equivalent education in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications 
  • Minimum 2 -3 years of equivalent experience

This position is permanent, full time, 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri. Applicant may be required to work on weekends as per work demand.

Compensation is $28.00 per hour. 40 hours per week. No benefits.

The position is only vacant for the location stated above.
