Position: Camp Ranger
Type: summer/seasonal (both students and non-students are welcome to apply)

Location: Consecon, Prince Edward County, Ontario

Fronterra (http://www.fronterra.ca) is a unique, high-end agro-tourism experience set on a 56 acre working farm. The farm cultivates organic malting barley and hops for beer production as well as a 15,000 sq. ft botanical heirloom garden. Fronterra operates a boutique luxury camp in the waterfront forest which provides guests a chance to reconnect to the natural beauty and simplicity of our farm, fields, lake and forests.

The Camp Ranger is responsible for ensuring a premium quality experience for Camp guests while at Fronterra. The Camp Ranger is the first point of contact guests will have at the camp after initial processing at Guest Services and is therefore imperative that a clean, professional, enthusiastic and courteous demeanour is maintained at all times.

The main responsibilities of the Camp Ranger are:

  • to tend to arriving, overnighting and departing guests to ensure they have all they need for a wonderful experience
  • to clean the guest suite (tent and outdoor kitchen & bathroom) and ensure the general upkeep of the campground
