Positions: Regional Coordinator
Organization: Ontario Soil Network
Location: across Southern and Eastern Ontario
About the Ontario Soil Network
We're a farmer network, figuring out how to improve soil and sharing our lessons learned... over coffee! We're talking cover crops, strip-till and no-till, compost, manure and more. http://www.ontariosoil.net
The Ontario Soil Network needs a few self-starters to support farmers and farmer-led events across Southern and Eastern Ontario.
This is a part-time job with flexible hours and involves talking with farmers, coordinating and advertising events, finding local sponsorship and partnerships and record keeping. Project management, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and communication skills are required, along with a clean drivers record and personal vehicle for travel. Knowledge of cropping systems, strong rural and agriculture networks and social media skills are a benefit.
Please send your resume and cover letter (five-page maximum) to Gabrielle Ferguson, firstname.lastname@example.org , by November 23, 2018.
