We are looking for individuals who are hardworking, not afraid to get their hands dirty, but also looking to gain valuable farming experience. We offer a great working environment, where you will work alongside the farm owners, Merridy and Eben.
Trailer accomodation will be provided, along with food from the farm, plus other off-farm food staples. A $400 monthly stipend will also be provided.
Your jobs will include but are not limited to care of livestock, market garden prep, planting, weeding and harvesting, preparing CSA shares and maple syrup bottling.
Internships will begin in April, but could begin in March if the applicant is interested in being involved with maple syrup season. Internships run until the end of October. Depending on the situation we can be flexible on the start/end dates.
The positions are full time, 5 days a week, 10 hours/day, with some variations in hours depending on the time of the season. There is allowance for a one week vacation.
