CTC was founded to implement a trademarked and patented CompoPonics technology. The vision is that organic foods are grown wherever food/organic waste is produced. Short miles in both waste recycling and food supplying will save both labour costs and GHG emissions.
By integrating composting process and growing process together, a CompoPonics farm recycles food/organic waste into nutritious liquid and auto supplies the recovered nutrients into growing beds. The CompoPonics technology may integrate as many processes as composting, soil growing beds, hydroponics, aquaculture, burning (a stove unit), greenhouse, rainwater collecting, auto watering, solar powering and etc.
The CompoPonics farms may be configured as big as an organic farm of acres. It may also be configured as a urban vertical farm of thousands square feet. Further more, it can be configured as small as tens to hundreds square feet fitting for urban household balconies and backyards.
Bill, the Founder of CTC has been inventing, experimenting and prototyping the CompoPonics technology since September, 2015. In Bill's backyard, an integrated prototype (composting + hydroponics + aquaculture + stove + greenhouse) has been running for 3 years, and another integrated prototype with composting + soil wicking beds has been running for one growing season.
CTC is now looking for Founding Partners for growing the CompoPonics business. Together we will build up a pilot CompoPonics Organic Farm Project and Business, which may carry out the following activities:
