Our farm is located on 28 acres, an hour northwest of Toronto, near the village of Caledon. Having recently launched our on-farm brewery, our hops are now grown for the purpose of using them in our own recipes and possible collaborations with others in the brewing community. We are a farm first, using sustainable and organic principles which are the foundations of our vision. Although growing hops is our primary focus, we also grow vegetables/herbs, raise lay hens, employ sheep in our yard for grazing/weeding purposes and are experimenting with growing alternative beer ingredients to use in our recipes. We strive to be community builders, encouraging local partnerships and hosting more events on-site each season.

We are looking for help with our farm endeavours this season. In addition to hands-on-learning and exposure, we also offer on-site accommodations, a weekly food stipend plus one week paid vacation. In exchange, we ask for 36 hrs / week of your time, a flexible attitude, diligent work ethic and a community-minded heart.

Are you interested in learning more about growing hops? Are you looking to deepen your interest and practical hands-on techniques growing organic vegetables and managing small-scale livestock? Do you want to experiment with your own plot of land to see what you enjoy growing? In addition, we encourage you to attend local workshops & seminars that further foster your interests, whether its seed saving, canning & preserving or learning further organic strategies.
