About Capital Greens Urban Farm
Capital Greens is a sustainable urban farm that specializes in growing high-quality, pesticide-free veggies in underutilized urban spaces, such as suburban backyards. We take great joy in converting water-sucking lawns into food-giving gardens. In exchange for providing their yard, homeowners receive a free weekly bag of veggies! The rest of the produce is sold to neighbours, nearby restaurants and local grocery stores.
In addition to the lawns that are converted to gardens, Capital Greens is expanding operations to include a plot of land on an organic farm in the east end of Ottawa.
Under the supervision of the farm operator, employees will help produce and sell an array of the highest quality vegetables and herbs using sustainable and organic methods. Employees will participate in all aspects of commercial vegetable production, including:

Wage: based on experience, starting at $14/hour
