The Ross Creek Centre for the Arts is on a beautiful property which celebrates lifelong learning and creaton in the arts. We are very rurally based and need to provide food for our visitors, staff and sumer campers. We are looking for someoneto fill our summer (and potentially longer) position of gardener. Ross Creek believes in providing locally produced, high quality, broad appeal food. We have a seasonal menu, which takes advantage of our substantial organic gardens. We are looking for a gardener to work with our property manager and chef and guide volunteers to ensure the gardens are beautiful and productive and to also help us in the development of new community outreach gardens.

The ideal candidate will love both landscape design and farming, and understand the aesthetic requirements with the productive! We also want a gardener who loves to teach, who can work with our camp staff and volunteers to do short interactive garden programs and to encourage a life-long love of growing good.

Two positions potential. One is for a Nova Scotian resident who is returning to school full time (does not have to be a school in NS), at any level. the other is for someone 30 or under.

To apply:

Canadian citizens, permanent residents OR international students at NS post-secondary institutions only.
