Persephone Brewing Co. is hiring a seasonal Farm Hand to work with our Farm Manager and support our growing farm operations at 1053 Stewart Road. Do you have a green thumb? Experience working in a commercial farm or market garden? Experience growing hops and/or working in an orchard? Are you a hard worker and enjoy working independently and as part of a team? Want to work with a progressive, community minded organization? If you’re reading this and nodding your head repeatedly then you may just be who we’re looking for.
Persephone Brewing Co. operates a brewery, cidery and farm on 11.2 acres near Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast of BC. We are committed to using our business as a force for good and for the betterment of our employees, our environment and our community. Existing farm enterprises include hops (1 acre in production and 2 acres in development), a 2 hectare cider apple orchard (in development), market garden consisting of 0.5 acres of field vegetables and a 20’ x 100’ greenhouse, and a laying flock of chickens managed by the Sunshine Coast Association for Community Living (our non-profit partner).
