We’re growing again and have an elusive position available!
This packer position consists of carefully and efficiently packing delicious organic produce into our customer's bins. A smaller portion of the job consists of weighing, sorting, checking quality of produce and tidying up. Some computer work may also be needed.
Qualities that would make you a good addition to the team:
The perfect candidate is detail oriented, pro-active and able to work at a fast pace. We’re also looking for very happy, positive people who can easily get along well with everyone at the Mama Earth planet headquarters. We're looking for people who are going become a long term member of our team.
General skills required:
This position will start at 3 shifts per week with the possibility of it becoming full-time.
Must be available for full-time training (Mon-Fri) for the first three weeks of employment.
Starting at $16.00 per hour (+ discount on organic produce). Packers who excel in their role and take on additional responsibilities can earn upwards of $22.00 per hour.
Partial benefits are also available after 3 months.

About Mama Earth:
We’re creating an alternative, locally-based, food system in Toronto. Mama Earth Organics partners with local organic farms and like-minded local businesses and artisans in Toronto. Our focus is local, organic, small-scale grown or produced food that tastes really good. We deliver directly to our member’s homes, throughout the GTA, on a weekly basis.
