Rawcology Inc. is expanding and looking for an energetic, dedicated, and hard-working Food Production, Assistant Manager to oversee our snack production.

Job Type: Full-time

Flexible shift work required depending on production needs with some production on Sundays as needed, 11:30AM - 7:30PM

Salary: Market based salary, based on experience with a 6-month probationary period.

We constantly strive to redefine the snack space with our truly healthy and delicious products.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Oversee all aspects of snack production including handling, mixing, and manufacturing, packaging and prep (4 flavours of coconut chips, 1 flavour of granola, with more products to come)
  • Quality control and lot coding
  • Washing, cleaning and organizing of the production facility
  • Prepping orders for shipping and delivery
  • Any other duties as required

Skills and Personal Attributes:

  • Positive attitude, with a passion to get things done right!
  • Hard-working, pro-active and reliable
  • Punctual with a strong attendance record
  • Ability to work on your feet for an 8-hour shift
  • Physically fit (can ensure lifting of 15-50 lbs)
  • Meticulous attention to cleanliness
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
  • Basic math skills
  • Excellent decision making and organizational skills
  • Self-starter with ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to establish effective working relationships
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel
  • Able to work on a repetitive task in a fast-paced setting


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Food Handlers Certificate required
  • Knowledge of and experience with packaging/production machinery an asset
  • Minimum 1-year experience in the food or culinary industry
  • Ideal candidate has experience in a commercial large-scale cooking environment
  • Interest/knowledge in organics/health food industry an asset
