Position: Volunteer Chartered Accountant
Organization: Reimagine Agriculture
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Reimagine Agriculture is looking for the assistance of a Chartered Accountant. The commitment involves helping to further develop our financial tracking and provide us guidance on an as needed basis throughout the year.
About Reimagine Agriculture:
We founded Reimagine Agriculture because we saw the opportunity to address pressing agricultural issues that are not currently being given enough attention in Canada. The farming sector is often overlooked in the critical and ongoing conversations surrounding waste and climate change. As agricultural waste and demand for meat, dairy, eggs and other products of animal agriculture continue to grow worldwide, their contributions to the already dire effects of climate change will worsen. Applying our expertise to these critically overlooked issues, Reimagine Agriculture is committed to reducing the negative impacts of these systems, building the changes in Canada that are needed throughout the world.
We accomplish these goals through the primary use of education, resources and support, and policy change. This can be in the form of presentations to various age groups and organizations, national campaigns with democratic engagement, and working with related stakeholders. Our focus is on being effective, using evidence-based reasoning and meeting people where they are. Learn more about us at reimagineagriculture.org

We are in the process of taking our largely voluntary organization into a financed non profit. It is important to us to build a relationship with a Chartered Accountant who can provide us sound financial guidance as it is needed and allow us to continue to develop our financial tracking systems. Experience working in the non profit sector would be especially valued and being passionate about the work we do would be a wonderful asset.
Interested individuals can send an email to email@example.com with their resumes and a few paragraphs on why they are interested in volunteering for us.
