Ensure Hive Future’s mission is apiary research and education. We educate the public while raising local bees resistant to Varroa mites to improve food security and food sovereignty in British Columbia. Better Bees for a better tomorrow.
Apiary Research/Education Volunteers
Volunteers are an integral part of our organization and we are always looking for people to join our collaboration.
We often hear from our volunteers that they learn as much in a weekend with us as they do over several years of beekeeping.
Volunteers can expect hands-on research experience with bees in the field, assisting with things like mite tests, serial numbering, community outreach and more.
