We are a young, active family with a 4 year old boy, living on an off grid homestead 12km out of town. We're looking for help building, gardening, childcare, animal care, help around the roastery.
We Speak English, Francais, Nederlands.
On the homestead we operate a certified organic, wood fired coffee roastery on the property and if you're interested, we'd happily teach you all about coffee (you'll surely enjoy drinking plenty of it). Check it out at www.atlinmountaincoffee.ca
We offer Food and Accommodation in exchange for 25hrs/week of volunteering. There may be options for casual paid work as well.
A cabin and a heated wall tent will be available for your use and we have plenty of space for camping. We have a fire pit that's looking forward to stories to be told around it.
Over the course of the summer, we are hoping to build a nice cookshack, greenhousa and sauna as well as more raised beds for the garden.
There will be lots of time for fun. If you're into the outdoors, we have Kayaks, Canoes and bikes that you can borrow to enjoy the backcountry.
Singles, Couples and Families are welcome.
We have a cat and dog.
