We are a small scaled diversified farm in Rockingham Ontario.
We use primarily draft horses and mules to cultivate the gardens, greenhouses, and for cutting hay and lots of other things. Logging, maple sirup. etc.
We have pigs in pasture, portable dairy goat herd, dexter cattle.
We sell at 2 farmers markets and have a small CSA.
You would live in the loft of our barn.
You would eat with us.
We cannot pay any cash, but we will supply all food, and you can leave at end of season with some food.
Starts: anytime now. We are starting the season with maple sirup, all buckets 400-900 taps. Hauled with the horses. Then we move into greenhouses and gardens.
Ends: ideally after thanksgiving. Potential for a winter intern for Horse Logging Apprenticeship.
