Are you interested in volunteering on an organic farm? Nature’s Way-Fruit is a start-up orchard/farm that grows healthy, sustainable fruits, berries and vegetables, while offering educational opportunities to the community.
Located less than 45 minutes from west Toronto, volunteering at Nature’s Way-Fruit is great way to learn to grow fruit trees close to Toronto while enriching your own life.
For farm work, our volunteer day will be Friday or Saturday (depending on your availability), from May to September, (10:00 to 14:30).
Volunteer activities include planting, weeding, harvesting, packing berries for market, plant care, etc.
Farm accommodation is not available. Can accommodate a small trailer on site if you have one. If not, you will be required to provide your own transportation. GO Train from Guelph and pickup at Georgetown station can be arranged. A stipend will be provided to cover transportation costs.
Helping out at Nature’s Way-Fruit is a great opportunity to learn practical skills in growing fruit trees, earn a small stipend, and develop your skills in marketing. If you are interested in getting involved, please email Tara at:
