250-acre conservation area and organic Farm/ranch operation in beautiful, peaceful, semi-tropical Yucatan is looking for someone to help us continue our work restoring damaged soils and increasing production of organic forest crops, fruit and vegetables. We compost, make our own bio-char and use low tech permaculture-inspired and traditional Maya farming methods.
Private accommodations provided in a thatched-roof stone cabin, near shower and bathroom. Simple, nutritious food provided plus stipend and possibly help with transportation costs depending on length of stay. Internet, cenotes, pool, ruins, bicycles, jungle hikes, colonial city, international heritage sites, Carribean beaches nearby.
