ORGANIC/SUSTAINABLE FARMING 

Wanted: Farm manager or helper
Type: depends on level of experience and time commitment, but at a minimum, work for accommodation, food and experience in conservation agriculture
Location: near Valladolid, Yucatan, Mexico, Central America

250-acre conservation area with small organic Farm/ranch operation in beautiful, peaceful, semi-tropical Yucatan is looking for help restoring damaged soils and increasing production of organic forest crops, fruit and vegetables. We compost, make our own bio-char and use low tech permaculture-inspired and traditional Maya farming methods. Contact me for a list of projects on our wish list and see if there is anything that matches your skills and passions. 

Private accommodations in a thatched-roof stone cabin, near shower and bathroom. Simple, nutritious food provided with possibility of stipend depending on length of stay. Cenotes, pool, ruins, bicycles, jungle hikes, colonial city, international heritage sites, Carribean beaches nearby.
