Position: Field Production Assistant
Organization: Still Growing Farm
Location: Ormond, Ontario
Our farm is looking for one part or full time employee to work on our organic mixed vegetable farm for the 2024 season. Employment would begin in May and end October. Working days are Monday to Friday. Compensation is $17/hr.
Duties on the farm include seeding and transplanting new crops, weeding, pruning, and lots of harvesting!
We try to work in the greenhouse on rainy days, but working on the farm means enjoying all types of weather.
We're a fairly new farm in just its third year. It's a great opportunity to work on a farm and see how it's being built from scatch.
