Neighbourly Farm is a growing village of ecological farmers and food-based entrepreneurs, two hours northwest of Toronto in Grey County, ON. There are already market gardens, mushrooms and berry cultivation, and a mixed regenerative livestock operation on over 200 acres of farmland, lake and wild spaces. Each household lives independently and runs their own independent enterprise.

We are now taking applications for two beautiful apartments (1- and 2-bedroom) and access to commercial kitchen space that will become available as of July/August.

Neighbourly is founded on the principle of land and facilities access for dedicated ecological entrepreneurs, and rental rates are set to be as fair as possible – typically, below market.

With our new, multi-part, fully-equipped commercial kitchen onsite, this housing is reserved solely for entrepreneurs who are ready to operate their own food production businesses on a full-time basis.

Fermented foods? Canned soups? A cut-and-wrap butcher? Baked goods? Cooking classes? Pop-up farm dinners? Read through our extensive website to get most of your questions answered, and bring us your proposal.
