Sole Food transforms vacant urban land into street farms that grow artisan quality fruits and vegetables. The Market Lead works closely with and takes direction from the Director of Farm Operations (DFO). The primary responsibility of this position is to oversee Trout Lake Farmers Market from May until the end of October. The ideal candidate will be available to commit to every Saturday for the season, thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle our vegetables and fruit with the utmost care and attention. While this position is limited to one day per week, there is an option for additional hours on Fridays, if desired. The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be confident operating our 24 foot market truck.
Skills and Qualifications
The Market Lead will be compensated $18 per hour and will receive deep discounts on Sole Food produce.
