Hiring: Production and Assembly Technician
Company: LifeSpace Gardens
Location: North Vancouver, BC

We are looking for a hardworking and energetic individual to join our team. The Production and Assembly Technician will work under the direction of the Production and Distribution Manager to receive tasks including stock inventory, shipping, receiving, packaging gardens and orders, as well as organizing pickups with clients and shipping companies.

This is an entry level position with room to grow and learn new skill sets, while working with an amazing small team of like minded individuals. We are looking for someone who is keen on joining our mission to help connect communities with growing their own food in our beautiful self-watering cedar gardens. Job Duties:

• Fulfilling orders of CondoFarm Gardens, and GardenWells (sub-irrigation system)
• Working in Shopify and Monday.com to update orders
• Packaging and printing shipping labels
• Organizing garden pick-ups with customers
• Talking to walk-in customers about gardens and the magic of self-watering
• Inventory management
• Assembly of CondoFarm Gardens and stock material
• Tidying and organizing woodshop
• Working alongside an incredible team in a fun face paced environment

Skills & Experience: (Will train the right person with a keen attitude to learn)

• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Experience in light woodworking with power drill, impact driver and hand tools.
• Experience in packaging/ shipping
• Experience in inventory management
• Time Management skills - working safely, independently and efficiently, as well as part of a team
• Experience with customer service is a plus, but not required
• Basic computer skills

$18 per hour
Total hours per week 24-40
