About Us:

Founded in 2016, Food Stash Foundation is a registered charity with a twofold mission to reduce the environmental impact of food waste and bridge the food insecurity gap that exists within our community. Through our 7 day per week operation, we currently support 16 suppliers and deliver to over 25 charities across the city of Vancouver with perishable surplus food delivery. Our food rescue efforts average over 65,000 pounds of diverted food per month into the hands of those who need it most. Our unique distribution model not only allows us to work with our charity partners that strive to assist others in food security, but it also allows for dignified access to wholesome nutritious food for those who need it most in the form of our weekly Rescued Food Box Program and Pedal to Plate Program, which currently supports over 80 households.
