Position: Vegetable Gardener

We are a diverse and inclusive community, looking to hire a vibrant & energetic person to work in our garden for 30 hours a week for 16 weeks. Candidates must be comfortable getting dirty, not melt in the rain, available some weekends and be adept at social media.
This role will support Open Doors Community Garden program through the general maintenance and care of garden beds, harvesting and distributing produce to agency programs. The candidate will work to continue good relationships with other community gardeners and like-minded social agencies with whom we collaborate. They will ensure volunteers are adhering to garden guidelines, with specific attention to COVID19 requirements. *all staff and volunteers must show proof of third vaccine
This position will also include some work from home opportunities as needed, including but not limited to social media campaigns and sign building.
