VOLUNTEER POSITIONS

Oppportunities: Kitchen Helpers
Organization: Ottawa Anglican Day Programs - The Well
Location: Ottawa, Ontario

This is a kitchen role. We need someone to help pack up and hand out food to folks who walk in late for lunch. Criteria:

• Comfortable working with little supervision
• Personable, friendly and outgoing
• Able to lift to 30lbs and comfortable with stairs
• Current Police background check
• Proof of Covid vaccinations – must be willing to wear a mask indoors, as we are a high risk setting

Duties may include:

• Assisting the Food Services Coordinator as needed
• Meal prep, comfortable with handling and chopping food
• Serving/plating/bagging of meals
• Dishwashing – industrial dishwasher
• Volunteers will sign in and out after each session to capture volunteer hours
