Logiag serves a varied and growing clientele, so we are looking for an agri-environmental and rural engineering advisor to complete its team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the supervision of the management of the land development service, the Advisor must:

  • Carry out topographical surveys and leveling plans
  • Supporting producers in Backfilling/Clearing files
  • Carry out soil condition diagnostics in order to identify problems and propose appropriate solutions
  • Carry out erosion diagnostics and recommend appropriate developments
  • Support producers in requests to the CPTAQ
  • Process data in GIS and other software

REQUIREMENTS

  • University diploma (BAC) in Agronomy or agri-environmental engineering or college diploma (DEC) in agriculture or agri-food
  • Member of the Order of Agronomists of Quebec, of the Order of Engineers of Quebec or member of the Order of Professional Technologists of Quebec (or in the process of becoming one)
  • Have relevant work experience (internships, previous jobs)
  • Own a car and a valid driving license

  • Demonstrate initiative and efficiency when analyzing and resolving problems

  • Be autonomous and dynamic
  • Bilingualism (French and English)

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Full-time position, mostly face-to-face at our Châteauguay office, with flexibility for occasional teleworking. A large part of the tasks are carried out on the ground in Montérégie, thus favoring applicants residing nearby.
