Position: Communications Manager

Pacific Wild is currently seeking an experienced, full-time, Communications Manager with a successful track record of delivering campaigns across multiple channels and platforms. The Communications manager will contribute to and drive campaigns that are visually compelling, engaging, strategic, science-based and focused on positive conservation outcomes.

Pacific Wild is a small but well-established conservation non-profit organization, with our office headquarters located in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. Using our powerful, authentic, visual storytelling, evidence-based reporting, innovative research, public education, legal action and community-led initiatives, Pacific Wild leverages its many partnerships to influence public opinion, policy, and legislative change to protect ecosystems and sustain biodiversity throughout the Pacific Northwest.

The Role
The Communications Manager acts as a public-facing voice of Pacific Wild Alliance (PWA) and has the responsibility to continually elevate Pacific Wild’s public profile, support base and followers through creative storytelling and outreach of the organization’s mission, goals and projects. The Communications Manager works with the team to plan and execute short and long-term communications strategies using visually stunning media and well-written content that draws positive attention to the organization’s conservation efforts on the BC coast.

This is a full-time, permanent position working from our office in Victoria, BC. Relocation assistance will be evaluated for the successful candidate; however, only those legally entitled to work in Canada will be considered.
