Hiring: Garden/Market Manager
Farm: Hidden Hill Farm

Location: Holland Centre, Grey County, near Owen Sound, ON
Housing: On-farm housing is available.

We are a small mixed farm in Grey County, ON, raising cut flowers and pasture raised chicken. We sell our products as well as other locally sourced sustainable foods at farmers markets in Toronto and Owen Sound, as well as wholesale. We are looking to expand our team with a dedicated garden and market manager for the remainder of the 2025 season, with the possibility of continuing full time permanent into the 2026 season.

Your responsibilities in this position would include:

• Planting/Transplanting
• Weeding
• Irrigating
• Flower Harvest
• Bouquet Assembly
• Market Prep
• Attending Markets once or twice each week
• Managing wholesale accounts
• Occasional livestock chores (moving/feeding/watering chickens
• Various and Sundry other responsibilities as needed
• Ability to work long days in all weather conditions, lift heavy (50lb) boxes, and attention to detail

You would be supported in this role by the Farm Manager and Livestock Manager.

Successful applicants will have at least one years experience working on a market garden operation. Knowledge of flowers is a bonus, but not required. This position requires a solution oriented approach, and will involve working alone when needed both on farm and at market.

This position requires 35-40 hours each week. Pay rate is $20-$25 depending on experience. On-farm housing is also available.
