Position: Field Team Member (Full-Time, Seasonal)
Farm: Homefield
Location: Hemmingford, QC (potential for on-farm housing)
Also hiring: Field Manager

• Start Date: April 2026
• Contract: Seasonal, until the end of the season (likely end of October)
• Hours & Pay: 35 hours per week (7 hours/day, typically Monday–Friday),
• Wage: Starting at $17/hour, based on experience

About the Role

We’re looking for a Field Team Member to join our crew for the season. You’ll be working closely with the managers and team to help with planting, crop care, harvesting and bunching. It’s a hands-on role, ideal for someone eager to learn and gain experience in farming.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planting, seeding, and transplanting crops
• Participate in harvesting and post-harvest tasks (bunching, packing, etc.)
• Keep the fields tidy, including weeding and soil care
• Support the team with daily tasks as needed

Requirements

• No prior experience required, but interest in farming is a must
• Comfortable with outdoor work in all weather
• Able to lift 30-40 lbs and do repetitive tasks
• Positive attitude and strong team player
• Most importantly, this role requires someone who is very physically hard-working. We work hard, but we also have a good time doing it!
