Summer: Education Program Coordinator

Position Type: Full-time (30-37.5 hr/week), seasonal (May–August) with potential for extension
Compensation: $22-26/hour (depending on experience) + access to fresh produce

Swiya Farms is a regenerative, community‑driven demonstration farm dedicated to restoring soil health, growing nutrient‑dense food, and building resilient local food systems. An Indigenous‑led non‑profit, our mission is to regenerate shíshálh lands through Indigenous stewardship and regenerative farming, offering a living demonstration of reconciliation grounded in land, learning, and relationship.
Position Summary
The Education Program Coordinator supports the development and delivery of land‑based learning programs for youth. This role includes leading field trips and supporting the summer farm youth program activities. This role requires creativity and energy to both design and execute new education programming. Additionally, you will support farming and restoration activities including planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing vegetables.
