At AGRARIAN-KITCHEN We are super seasonally driven, supporters of local farmers and food artisans in our community business.

We are doubling our commitment this year in a new, innovative space, and we need creative, fun-loving co-workers.

Our business consists of many local farmers' markets, a long-standing catering company, and we are just opening our new retail space and commercial kitchen.

Location: Our "homebase" is where we do all our market prep, host events, and public retail. We are located at 26A Logan Ave, Toronto, ON M4M 2M9. In addition to this space, we are at various farmers' markets throughout the week, most located in Toronto's East End. Applicants must be able to travel to and from the markets. Some of our staple markets this summer include Evergreen Brickworks, Cabbage Town, Underpass, Withrow, and Leslieville.


Lead Pastry Chef (permanent)

We are looking for someone to grow with us and create a focused, innovative team.

We love confident, independent thinkers who lead by example and are not afraid of hard work. You will be collaborating with the current Lead Chef to create new menu items and prepare for events and markets.
This position requires dedication, patience and a knowledge of pastry as well as savoury food in a commercial kitchen.

As most bakers know, this position includes early mornings and some overnights. You will be responsible for overseeing kitchen staff and prep for our weekend farmers' markets.

Pizzaiolo (seasonal)

We are looking for someone to manage our pizza program. This includes prepping dough, collaborating on new seasonal recipes, and most importantly- making pizzas at the market. In addition to making our sourdough and ingredients in advance at our commercial kitchen, you will work alongside market staff to set up your pizza station and sell.

We are looking for people who are interested in and know their way around sourdough and local ingredients; this is as much a chef position as it is a retail one. We are looking for a “people person” who can assist with catering and in-store retail sales. You will be working both indoors and outdoors, at various locations around Toronto's East End.
