Would you like to own an established small food-based business and run with it?

Pickled Pink Traditional Food & Drink has been a beloved sauerkraut, pickles, and a one-of-a-kind sweet-tart-fizzy kombucha business, a staple top-seller at Halifax Brewery Farmers’ Market Cooperative since 2012. We also import organic and unpasteurized cheese from Quebec.

All branding is done. All permits and testing are done. Pink's returning customers are loyal, with 40-50% new credit card customers every Saturday. We have been tracking sales with Square since 2020, and can demonstrate the continuing growth. This is a real chance to grow into retail or multiple farm markets. Common comments are "This is the best kombucha I've ever had", or (walking back to the market stall) "This is actually good!"

Pink uses certified organic and fair trade ingredients as much as possible, with products being from 91 to 100% organic.

Work is currently very part-time for one person with great return for hours.

We're looking for someone to take over our business. All procedures and recipes will be shared and all needed training will be provided. Our terms are flexible. Food experience will be an asset for you, but being a detail-oriented and tidy person is more important. We want to make this a success.
