ORGANIC & BIODYNAMIC FARM – 2026 SEASON

Fiddle Foot Farm is a diverse Biodynamic farm where we grow 5.5 acres of vegetables. We market our produce through a fall and winter CSA, on-line orders and wholesale customers. This will be our 19th season running a farm business, and 16th season operating Fiddle Foot Farm. We practice a holistic approach to farm management through the incorporation of Biodynamic practices. We consider the land that we work to be a dynamic and living Farm Organism that can be increasingly sensitized to nature’s rhythms through the application of consciously prepared herbal preparations, carefully timed plantings and the power of positive intentions and human thought. Working at Fiddle Foot Farm is appropriate for curious minds seeking to develop a practical and more personal connection to the natural world through daily interactions with soil, plants, animals and people.

You will have the opportunity to work with many aspects of sustainable and regenerative agriculture. This may include: seeding, transplanting, cultivation /weeding, irrigation, use of BCS walk-behind tractor, harvesting, post-harvest handling, etc. You will also have access to our extensive agricultural library.

The 66-acre farm property includes access to the Bruce Trail and the nearby Boyne River.

We are looking for 1-2 Farm Staff for the 2026 growing season

Compensation:
· Hourly wage $18-20/hr depending on experience
· Food: vegetables produced from the farm and discounted grocery orders from the farm store.
On-farm accommodation available: shared accommodation in a 3 bedroom, 800 ft2 house with all utilities included (heat, hydro and internet). Rental cost is $350/month.

Vacation Time:
All full-time staff are able to schedule one day off per month, for every month worked. These days are to be scheduled with the farm managers, and can be banked and grouped to accommodate multiple-days off together. These vacation days are unpaid.

All applicants must be willing and able to work long, satisfying hours in the outdoors, 5 days a week and be committed to working in a team environment. On average, you would be expected to work between 40 and 50 hrs per week. Hours do fluctuate throughout the season. Our work weeks are typically Monday to Friday.
