About Terramor Farm:

Terramor Farm is a profitable small-scale farm located in Burnstown, just 50 minutes west of Ottawa.

We use bio-intensive farming practices and mostly hand tools to cultivate 3 acres of land. We produce over 30 varieties of high-quality, organic vegetables as well as a 1/4 acre of cut-flowers for our 100+ member CSA program, high-end restaurants, and three farmers markets.

We’ve shaped our farm through investing heavily in education and employing the best contemporary growing techniques learned from online courses such as Floret Farm (Erin Benzekein) and The Market Gardener Masterclass (Jean-Martin Fortier). Staff will have the opportunity to see how these methods are implemented to make an efficient and profitable small-scale operation run.

Staff will work in all aspects of production, with the option to specialize in an area. Core work includes nursery planting, transplanting, irrigation, weeding, field management, pest management, harvesting, irrigation, washstation/packaging, and farmers market sales.
