Community Climate Hub Facilitator
14-week contract position; 35 hours per week; September to December 2025

The position: Ecosource is seeking a Community Climate Hub Facilitator to animate creative, hands-on climate education programming for community members of various ages at our Community Climate Hub, a facility that includes an outdoor classroom, community garden, and teaching kitchen. The Facilitator will work in collaboration with the Ecosource team to engage community members in cooking and gardening with local food, outdoor play & discovery, and hands-on environmental learning. The successful candidate will support a weekly cooking program for older adults, a nature play workshop series for children 0-5 years old and their caregivers, and help facilitate curriculum-linked, climate-themed field trip opportunities for children in grades 1-3. This is an in-person role, with the main activities taking place at Ecosource’s Community Climate Hub in Mississauga 4-5 times a week.

This is a 14-week contract position at a rate of $26.00 per hour at 35 hours/week from mid September to December 2025. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required with advanced notice. Access to personal days and 6% vacation pay are included in the position. Due to the nature of this role, this position will be fully in-person at Ecosource’s Community Climate Hub in Mississauga.
A Police Vulnerable Sector Check will be required upon hiring.
